Preserving the Past to Endow the Future

The museum consists of hundreds of items pertaining to the history of Grayson County and its families. All items have been donated or are on loan from fellow Graysonites. Items include clothing, furniture, quilts, machines, bibles and books, correspondence, pictures, photos, medical equipment, currency, and personal effects. Admission to the museum is currently free to all patrons, but small donations are appreciated.
Group tours may be arranged at leaset one week in advance by contacting our librarian. This time allows us to plan for extra volunteers to be available if needed for the group. School groups are welcomed, but we request numbers be kept to no more than 20 students unless adequate adult supervison is provided.
We are always looking for donations (or loans) to the museum. If you have items relavent to our collection, please contact our librarian. All donations are listed in our newletter, the Graysonite.
